Ode to Josh, the Handyman!

This man I married is so skilled in home repairs, it's insane! He has an idea of a project and then Boom, he does it! "Install wood floor, no problem; Make a pantry, easy! Build a fence and then a pergola, done." He doesn't stress; he simply gets to work. I really admire that about him, especially because I'm the one who stresses so easily or I second guess everything. "Are you sure this is going to work?", or "Is that even possible?", are questions that I ask frequently when we discuss a project. I also appreiciate his ability to repair things like washing machines and cars. Or being able to set up Bunk Beds while a little boy is tagging alongside him the entire time. I'll have to take pictures of the bunk-bed. We found it online for a great deal and Jaxon loves his big boy bed. He is now wanting to go potty when Kaitlyn does, so we will see what happens with that.
So, I am a very lucky woman and really take it for granted most days. Sometimes, I really miss those romantic dating/ engaged/ first married days but I think I need to really see what I have in front of me. I have an image of a georgous pergola in my head and he creates it without complaint, that's love!

How nice to have a house to actually do home repairs on!! I have been thinking too lately about how exciting and romantic dating was... but I know I would never trade it for the security and happiness I have now as a married girl!
