Our Fun Visitors!

Be Prepared For An Extremely Long Post!!

So, we had some of our close friends, the Crawford's come visit us in mid August! We had so much fun with them. Kailtyn really misses her friend Ava. We had a blast doing some of the fun activities Memphis and Southaven area have to offer. We went to Gus' Chicken, sprinkler park, peach picking, baseball game (sooooo hot and humid, yikes) and went to the river walk! We love seeing them, it's great to see people that you haven't seen in a while and start back up right where you left off.

We also, had some other visitors! A first year family stayed with us for a while until their house closed! It was a neat experience to have complete strangers come stay with us and after the 2 weeks (not sure how long) feel like we've known them forever and now they are really great friends! Brandon (the first year SCO student) gave me the most awesome nick name "Volcanic Ash". I'm seriously thinking this is the coolest nick name I have ever had! If only I can get it to stick! Anyway, My kids still ask me me when our friends are coming back! We had so much fun with the Sloans, thanks guys for being awesome people!

We invited our friends to Lake Sardis and it was an awesome day of sun shine, fun people, and good food! Roxy Loved it as well! She would play fetch in the water and was right with the guys when they were playing "500" (at least I think that is what they were playing!)
