Life at the moment!

Flowers make me happy!
These are some of my babies, the picture does not to them justice!
Here is a picture of my real baby:

Sometimes I wish I had something profound to say or even a joke to open my blog post, but alas, I got nothing. Oh, wait I do have a joke I can share, my niece and my sister came up with it and it's a crowd pleaser. So, why did the chicken cross the play ground? (wait for it... wait for it) To get to the other SLIDE!

So, Life doesn't seem to stand still does it. Kailtyn is 4 and she is more helpful and creative than ever. Just tonight she told me a quick story about a cow named, "Moolea". How cute is that? Jaxon is acting like he is four. I have to constantly remind myself he is only two. He talks so well and is imagination is amazing. Last night after dinner he ran from his chair telling us we needed to fly away from the dinosaur because we would be safe in the sky! He is so fun. Jett is becoming a handful. He can pull himself up to stand on practically anything and can crawl up a step on our staircase. He is only 8 months; he really needs to stop growing up. He is the happiest baby. You only have to smile at him to make him laugh. It's wonderful having him, he calms me down and gives me perspective. Yes, babies really can do that!

Last weekend we took the kids to a park and went fishing and they caught their first fish! We didn't bring our camera, so we only got pictures of Jaxon on Josh's phone. But the kids loved it. The fish were small so we just threw them back. Kailtyn and Jaxon had no fear. They would throw those slimy things back into the water, no problem! Later that night we went to a free concert at Overton Park in Memphis. There are perks when you live close to a city! It was a great day!

Here are some pictures of what we do when the storms are really bad or the tornado sirens go off:
Okay so josh doesn't really relax in his hammock but he is always the calm one!
We all get in the hallway and have a party (above). Or we all have a slumber party!

Mother's Day was excellent. He made me dinner and got me a cast iron skillet and glass mixing bowls, something I have been mentioning, not hinting, forever. He is so thoughtful. It was a relaxing Day and we just spent the day outside playing with the kids! Josh also gave me a trip to Utah. I got to see my sister Nicole and her newest baby girl and my sister in-law and some of my friends. It was great and Jett did awesome. I will not discuss the journey home, however. It was an adventure to say the least and worthy of it's own blog post, entitled, "Stranded!" I will post pictures of my visit later!

We had a great Easter filled with lots of fun activities, SCO Easter Egg hunt, Community Easter Egg hunt, Field Day Party, Colored eggs and Easter Dinner with great friends! It was so fun!
